Take a second and take the following quiz. Answer each question YES or NO.
Do you think your life could be better?
Do you think you have the power to make it better?
Are you capable of change?
Are you ready and willing to act to make things better?

If you answered YES to all four of these simple, but fundamental questions, then you are already better off than 99% of the people in the world.

“Ron, I have all these beliefs, but that doesn’t make me better than 6 billion other people. My life still has problems.”

Everyone’s life has problems. You can spend the rest of your life attacking those problems, achieving ever higher levels of performance and success, and you still won’t be perfect. You know this.

But if you don’t have these beliefs, you won’t be able to move to those higher and higher levels.

Beliefs have a powerful influence over our lives. They dictate what we can and can’t do. They are the biggest limits we have. These questions show us the four fundamental things you have to believe to be a success in life.

Do you think your life could be better?

Many people in the world don’t believe their life could be better. They think it is fate, or karma, or their lot in life to be the way they are. They have no concept of a better way to be. Just having the realization your life could be better is a gift too many don’t share.

Do you think you have the power to make it better?

The majority of people realize their lives aren’t where they want them to be. Somewhere between totally sucks and not quite perfect. Now the question is, who can change their lives?

Amazingly most people are waiting for someone or something outside of themselves to come along and change their lives. They figure their finances will only get better if their boss gives them a raise, or they win the lottery. If their spouse would just change, their lives would be better.

If you believe YOU have the power to change your life, you’ve moved out of hopeless majority and into the minority of possibility.

Are you capable of change?

Even if someone thinks they have the power to make life better, they may not believe change is possible. You can do some “self-help” stuff, but you are still essentially who you were before. They say this meaning in the things that really matter, they can’t really change.

A lot of people say things like, “Yeah I could lose weight, but I just don’t have the will power to diet.” or “I tried that once and wasn’t able to do it, so I guess I’m just not the kind of person who succeeds.”

That second belief, that you tried and failed and therefore can’t change ever, is a real killer. How many things of importance did you get right the very first time you tried? A failure isn’t a reason to decide you can’t do something. It is feedback on one thing that didn’t work.

If you believe you can change, you’ve moved into the top 10% of the achievers in the world.

Are you ready and willing to act to make things better?

You can believe all kinds of things, but until you put it into action, nothing is going to change. Action is power. Action is the key to success.

It is not the best idea that carries the day; it is the best executed idea that does. You have to get to the place where you are willing to change. Willing to take action. Willing to do what it takes to make things better. When you are there, you’ve moved into the top 1%.

At Distinctions for Life I’m looking for the people who’ve reached this point. I’m looking for the elite 1% who are ready to make things better.

Are you one of them?

When you get to that point, all you need is accurate information on what to do. That’s what I’ll provide for you over time. In the form of courses, events, and books. We’ll work together to take things to the next level.

But you are the key, and if there were no teacher you could still learn how to be better all by yourself. Without buying anything. Without reading anything.

Want to know how?

Well you’ll have to wait for the next lesson.
